South Africa seeks halt to Israel's Gaza offensive - BBC Africa
South Africa is asking the UN's top court to order Israel to stop its military offensive in Rafah in southern Gaza.
It is presenting its case at a two-day hearing at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague. Israel is to deliver its response at the court on Friday.
South Africa is also seeking to force Israel to allow "unimpeded access" to Gaza for aid workers, journalists and investigators.
The court is already considering a case brought by South Africa in January accusing Israel of committing genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza. Israel rejected the claim as false and "grossly distorted".

FSouth African black police are part of the increasing crime ,as reported over 40% are criminals with serious crime reports ,before they were employed. The majority are incompetent, poorly educated and don't understand the law. They are racist towards the minorities and abuse citizens. Many work with criminals gangs. You have to live in SA to see this.Where in the world did anyone see over 10,000 confiscated firearms kept in police safe went missing as reported. Over 500,000 rounds of ammo went missing. Criminals carry rifles that are only given to the Defense Force ,they carry grenades from the defense force.Criminals wear police uniforms and bullet proof jackets and enter homes as police then rob and kill .This country is controlled by criminals and the black government is totally corrupt and don't care. This country is tooooo dangerous to live in.

What the hell is this title about? Ancestors Spirits and Gods? History of Africa? I am rather irritated. Belief systems that pre-date Judaism, Christianity and Islam existed prior to their introduction into Africa. Obviously there are hybridised systems that now exist. Or rather co-exist. This looks incredibly patronising and truly undermines authentic indigenous spiritual practice in Africa. BBC? I expected more. Assigning a black woman to report on this is inconsequential, she is obviously way too westernised to recognise indigenous knowledge and spiritual realities that originated in Africa. Please revisit this specific topic. This time, dedicate less attention to the Big 3 and more to what existed in Africa prior to colonial influence for thousands of years. Isnt that what we are interested in? Or is it just me?

Under ANC rule South Africa first became a criminal haven and more recently a failed state. Strangely enough, the international community is rather sanguine about this decline and tragedy. If Whites were responsible I'm sure there would be pressure and sanctions. Blacks are definitely held to a different (lower) standard in Africa.

Crime is amongst all races, but THIS is the difference. There is not a single political party going on national TV calling to slice the black man's throat, NO political party going on national TV singing songs that say 1 Black 1 bullet. Even sang by your saint Nelson Mandela after 1994. You CONVENIENTLY left out footage to show Julius Malema with his EFF ( ANC youth league) hanging white dolls with blood and parading through the streets singing kill the farmer, 1 settler 1 bullet, kill the white man...we are here to slice the white man's throats. Black people walking in the streets with a T Shirt that says. Kill the white man. Julius is from a registered political party. So when you have political leaders propagating for the killing of white farmers and whites are a MINORITY, then that is the definition of calling for a genocide. It is easy to put a number on the screen of the killings in relation to the whole population, but when you Start putting out the number of killings in relation to a specific group of people the % is much higher. If there are 1000 murders a day in a population of 1 000 000 people, but 50 of those murders are against a specific group that only had 5000 people you have a much higher %. Put that into a scenario where political leaders openly ask for that group to be killed and not a single minister of the leading party are willing to speak out against that and the justice system refuse to call it hate speech...then yes we are talking about a genocide.
